On December 11, 2012, the delegation of the Center for Research and Strategy Development of Japan consisting of its Professor Yukihide Hayashi, Professor of Hokkaido University Yasuhiro Yukimatsu and the second secretary of the economical department of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine Mr.
On December 6, 2012 a delegation of "Tokyo Boeki Technology Ltd." (Japan) headed by its president Mr. Kazuei Uchida and Mr. Oleksiy Shpak, managing director of company’s office in Ukraine, visited NTUU "KPI".
The 6th of December, at the day of Armed Forces of Ukraine and on the eve of International day of civilian aviation, took place a sonorous ceremony of opening the science lab-flight IAK-40.

On November 22, 2012 Mr. Igor Peer, Vice-president on Business Development at Gtherm Global LLC, a specialist of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Israel, visited National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
Yu. Yakymenko, First Vice-rector of NTUU “KPI” informed guest about history of our university, research activity and main directions of innovative projects.
The sculpture - seven-meter stack of books topped with the academic cap (bonet) - was opened in the KPI.
On November 15, 2012 leaders of NTUU "KPI" and Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic” held a meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the United States of America in Ukraine Mr. Eric A. Johnson, Counselor for Public Affairs, and Ms. Vera Ternovska, an Academic Affairs Specialist.
On November 13, 2012 the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" received Rector of the International University College Mr. Todor Radyev (Dobrich ,Republic of Bulgaria), and head of the official office of the International University College in Ukraine Mrs. Natalia Kornilova.
On October 30, 2012 Sir Roger Penrose, prominent English scientist, an inventor of twistor theory, who is actively working in various fields of mathematics, physics, general relativity and quantum theory visited NTUU "KPI".
