On November 21, 2025, the XVIII Open Student Olympiad on the Theory of Electronic Circuits took place remotely, which is held annually by the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Faculty of Electronics and is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Vitaly P. Sigorsky, an outstanding scientist and teacher who worked at our university from 1964 to 2007.
📌 Every year, the International Competition of Student Research Papers on Artificial Intelligence brings together young researchers who create innovative solutions and develop new ideas, working with the most advanced areas of AI — from Computer Vision to Natural Language Processing.
During the annual team competition among technical students, participants created MVP developments for real business cases under the mentorship of Huawei experts.

Dave Morgan, founder and CEO of the American company Simulmedia, visited Kyiv Polytechnic University. He met with scholarship recipients: master's and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics (FPM) who are studying for a degree in Applied Mathematics (F1).

The VR Deminer's Lab hackathon brought together student teams who developed concepts, scenarios, and visual prototypes of VR/AR simulators for training sappers — solutions capable of improving the training process in accordance with professional standard 5169 “Explosive Ordnance Disposal Operator (Deminer)”.
🏆 More than 30 students from leading technical universities in Ukraine took part in the first youth hackathon dedicated to climate innovation and challenges, the Youth Climate Innovation Hackathon.
The event organized by the Student Consolidation Center of Igor Sikorsky KPI brought together music, communication, drive, new acquaintances, and relaxation, becoming a real hub of student activity.
