University Media, PR & Branding Center KPI4U was established on December 1, 2024, to develop and implement a set of activities, projects, proposals and recommendations on the main principles and vectors of positioning, strengthen the positive image of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, popularize and increase the level of brand awareness of the university in accordance with modern realities and the Sustainable Development Goals.

  1. Office of media support of the university activities;

Main areas of activity of KPI4U

Media

  1. creation of own media products, organization and implementation of media projects on scientific and innovative, educational, international, socio-cultural, sports, volunteer and other activities of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (photo and video content, information for official university social networks, etc.);
  2. organization of photo and video shooting of university events in accordance with the algorithm of such shooting;
  3. informing the community of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and external target audiences about the achievements of the university, important news, professional activities of academic staff, scientific/personal achievements and success stories of teachers, students and employees of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
  4. interaction and/or involvement of mass media and new media in the production, co-production and/or publication of media products produced within the activities of the department;
  5. formation of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute media archive with photo and video materials, in particular in open access on a specific website and/or social networks;
  6. information content and publication of the official newspaper of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute “Kyiv Polytechnic” and the newspaper “Svit”.

PR and advertising

  1. cooperation with mass media, new media, public figures and other target groups in order to popularize and cover information about Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
  2. creating, organizing and conducting information and/or advertising campaigns to popularize Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
  3. planning and organizing events aimed at covering and spreading information about Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
  4. interaction with external (applicants, partners, graduates, employers, etc.) and internal (higher education students, research and teaching staff, employees and university departments) target audiences and stakeholder groups to promote Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Filming

Cooperation with individuals and legal entities on the provision of additional services for filming and/or creating photo and video content on the territory, in educational buildings, and other facilities and areas assigned to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Identity and branding

  1. creation and implementation of a visual communication system to increase the level of brand awareness of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute;
  2. implementation of the brand book of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and formation of recommendations for the use of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute symbols;
  3. communication with Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute departments on the implementation of the brand book, the use of university symbols, the creation and implementation of visual identity in accordance with the brand book, etc.

Brand and image projects

Organization and conduct of theme-based projects involving higher education students, research and teaching staff, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute staff, applicants, partners, alumni, etc. to implement, develop and popularize the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute brand.

MICE and tourism

Positioning of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as a location for events of various formats to popularize the university brand.

Interaction with university departments

The KPI4U can communicate with Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute departments regarding:

  1. taking photos and videos;
  2. positioning, demonstration of competitive advantages, coverage of information about them in the media;
  3. providing recommendations on the implementation of the brand book, use of university symbols, creation and implementation of visual identity in accordance with the brand book, visual communications, etc;
  4. the results of the admission campaign and their relationship with the positioning of the units in the information environment and the level of recognition among applicants, etc.
