A delegation of the Central Office of the Security Service of Ukraine visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on October 20 and had the aim to discuss cooperation in the field of information security, cybersecurity and its strategy.
The trade union committe of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, which took place on September 8, resolved several issues at the meeting. The first agenda item was the most urgent issue concerning the beginning of a new academic year: “The organization of the educational process at the university under quarantine”.
The question of the beginning of the new academic year was heard first. Rector Michael Zgurovsky reported. He informed about new forms of holding meetings, transformation in the domestic system of higher education in general and in our university in particular, scientific certification of higher education institutions, the University Development Strategy and directions of its reform.
According to the reports of the first vice-rector Y.I. Yakymenko, the Academic Council considered the following issues: "On improving the management system of the university", "On preparation for the new academic year", "On structural changes of university departments" and made the appropriate decisions.

At the committee meeting, Vice-rector for administrative work Vadim Kondratyuk presented a separate garbage collection program at the university. The editorial department of "Kyiv Polytechnic" asked him for comments regarding to its implementation.
