Rector Mykhailo Zgurovsky reported on the adaptation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020-2021.

The meeting was chaired by acting rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Yuriy Yakymenko in the presence of representatives of student government: Chairman of the Students Committee of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Igor Stepaniuk.

It is planned to allocate 297.8 thousand hryvnias for the works. This amount was approved at a regular meeting of the University Development Council.

The participants discussed improving of the management of the University scientific activity according to the Coordinating Council.

A delegation of the Central Office of the Security Service of Ukraine visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on October 20 and had the aim to discuss cooperation in the field of information security, cybersecurity and its strategy.

The trade union committe of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, which took place on September 8, resolved several issues at the meeting. The first agenda item was the most urgent issue concerning the beginning of a new academic year: “The organization of the educational process at the university under quarantine”.

The question of the beginning of the new academic year was heard first. Rector Michael Zgurovsky reported. He informed about new forms of holding meetings, transformation in the domestic system of higher education in general and in our university in particular, scientific certification of higher education institutions, the University Development Strategy and directions of its reform.
