🎥 After a several-year break, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute once again hosted one of the largest international student programming competitions in an in-person format—the 17th International Open Programming Olympiad KPI-OPEN 2026.
👨💻 The strongest IT teams—32 teams representing 14 universities—put their skills to the test by solving challenging algorithmic problems.
This year's tournament featured:
✨ international-level challenges: 8 problems, including 2 exceptionally difficult ones;
✨ speed and focus: 5 hours of intensive team-based problem-solving;
✨ safety and continuity: the competition continued even during air raid alerts, with participants relocating to a specially equipped shelter.
🤝 The large-scale return of KPI-OPEN was made possible thanks to the tournament's General Partner, the product fintech company Solidgate. With the company's support, the competition was held, the prize fund was established, and students had the opportunity to meet with representatives of the IT industry.
