On March, 13 this year, the team sports aerobics of "KPI" returned to Kyiv, they participated in the Open Championship of the Czech Republic (Zlin).

On February 26-27, 2014 in Scientific and technical library named for G.I. Denisenko of NTUU "KPI" was the championship of chess. The event was organized by the department of sports of the Student Council of the University and department of sport SR of Publishing and Printing Institute.

Intense in athletic achievements 2012-2013 years had the orienteering sportsmen of our university. Team of NTUU"KPI" performed well and won II place in the championship of Ukraine among universities, which took place in Kiev.

Among students of KPI issue of extra hours on physical training that are included in the curriculum are currently debated. They argue that these four hours of training interfere with study process, and instead of them some additional classes of main subjects are advisable.

For a 5-year period in November the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automation of NTUU "KPI" holds Olympics in five sports. Competition program traditionally consists of swimming, table tennis , basketball, volleyball and football.

“KPI”, undoubtedly, is the best higher educational establishment of the country. The students of “KPI” are bright and talented youth, which achieves remarkable successes in studies and life.

Table tennis is considered one of the most popular sports in the world.

In late September in Alushta took place final competition of Five Ukranian game veterans of volleyball sport and the Cup of Ukraine 2013, devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Association of Veterans volleyball Ukraine .
