Swimming competition for the Games of the program NTUU "KPI" took place on 16 April at the pool sports complex of the University. The competition was attended by 186 students (161 young and 25 girls). Athletes competed at 100m - complex swimming 50m - freestyle, butterfly, back, breast stroke; relay 4 x 50m - freestyle and 4 x 50 m - combined swimming.
As a result the first place won ISZZI team (608 points), second place - Teff (593 points), third place - FBMI (538 points). The best representatives of their departments were students Artemy Nuts (FHPE) and Victoria Omelyanets (FSL). Artemy Nuts won first place at four distances: 100 m swimming complex with a score of 0.59,81; 50m butterfly - 0.26,41 and two relay as a member of faculty team (pictured). Victoria Omelyanets won first place at distances of 100 meters swimming complex with a score of 1.23,0 and 50m butterfly - 0.34,75.
Along with the masters in swimming competitions students of various skill levels also participated. For example freshman PSF Dmitri Averin in September 2013 couldn't swim at all. He is currently represented by the initial group of academic teaching swimming pool "Liahushatnyk" and performed the standard and junior level adding points in the "treasury" of the faculty (he was taught to swim by senior lecturers in physical education K.Smirnov and O.Cherevychko).
Champions and winners of the competition were awarded with certificates, diplomas, medals; faculty team winners received cups. Awards presented by the chief referee and Professor of the Department of Physical Education d.ped.n. Yu.M.Vyhliaiev. Representative of the sponsors - Manager of Public Relations Ina Novick presented two monthly memberships to a fitness club "Sport UP".
A special thanks receives the jury of 20 teachers of the department of physical education and sport improvement and charming assistants - students of training pool. And thousand thanks are to the audience who cheered warmly the participants and created a unique atmosphere of Aquaholiday.
