Gymnastics competition under Games of NTUU "KPI" in which 84 students from 21 faculty participated was held on April 10. The winners were determined in individual and team standings. Gymnastics program for men includes free exercises, exercises on the bar, parallel bars, rings, gymnastic vault horse. Gymnastics program for women includes free exercises, exercises for uneven parallel bars, balance beam and vault.
Gymnastics not only promotes physical development of the body. Muscles strength, endurance, agility, flexibility, jumping and coordination are also very important. Exercising creates good posture, which determines the overall health of the body. Thanks to the perseverance and dedication, the KPI students which started their training just at the university have represented their teams and departments in this difficult kind of sport with the honour.
Judging panel was composed of lecturers of the Department of Physical Education and invited guests from Kiev Grinchenko University and National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine. Chief referee is responsible for the educational department of gymnastics, senior lecturer A.M.Smovzhenko, chief secretary of the competition - senior lecturer V.I.Shyshatska. At the end of a competition the winners who were awarded with diplomas and medals. In the team standings place - FBMI (117.2); Second place - IMD (116.5); Third place - FEPEA (112.95).
