Adrenaline, desire of victory, these feelings overflowed student union activists, members of sports and intellectual game "Labyrinth." Traditionally, the event was held 30 May till 1 June, 2014 in Kyiv Sea shores in the student sports camp KPI "Polytechnic". We can say that this year, when the game was held for the fourth time, it has developed from the city tournament event to national one, because it was attended not only by students of leading universities in Kyiv, but also by guests from Kiev and Nikolaev. 16 teams from 12 universities of Kyiv and the team of the National University of Shipbuilding of Admiral Makarov (Mykolaiv) competed. The "Labyrinth" organizers were the primary trade union organization of students "KPI" together with the student trade union association of Kyiv.
Although the game has its "veterans", the majority of participants have been in "Politehnica" for the first time. So they curiously overlooked area and quietly envied Polytechnic students who have such a great place for sports and recreation. Then they chose for their teams the best place to break camp. Then the camp turned into a short one "nest" where each participant performed some work, and together equipped their daily graft. Someone was collecting wood for the fire, someone was clearing area, others were making from the available material tents, benches, coat racks, towel, the others were digging pits for garbage, etc..
Despite unsuitable weather, showers and gusts of wind, the students still experienced themselves on the stages of the competition, in particular, have received positive emotions from taking part in rope crossings "Liana", "Overpass", "Descent", "Boom", "Butterfly" and others. The deputy of head of the Kiev Union of Education and Science of Ukraine Oleksandr Trofymenko came to support and encourage daredevils. He interacted with the students and wished them to continue to be active, energetic and help each other because team spirit is a great power.
Victory in the sports and intellectual game "Labyrinth" was received by "SuperShEVA" Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv team (captain, Maxim Zavarzin). Second place was awarded to 4th team "KPI" (captain, Pavlo Dobrovolsky). The third place won the "Aviator" NAU team(captain, Dmitry Kachuk). About the impressions of participants from "Labyrinth": It was fun and interesting, but alas, no luck with the weather. But this is not an obstacle during the quest. We came tired, exhausted but happy.
Olga, a student of KNEU: We were in the unreal close to survival conditions when running in the rain forest and perform different tasks, but it was cool.
Michael, a student of NTU "KPI": I had practiced these kinds of sports for the first time in my life, but I really liked it and got a great experience. There were unreal emotions, I would recommend it to everybody.
Rafael Mammadova student of KNEU: It is good that the Student union association initiated such events. It enables us to relax, be aside from various problems and work with a new vigor.
