On February the 26th in the Igor Sikorsky Kyi Polytechnic Institute occurred an official opening of the Training program for specialists of "Ukroboronprom" on the "Management of the military-industrial complex".

"Who passively waits – in the end receive the expected, but only what is left after those who were playing vigorously," – this credo has defined for herself, Alyona Grishko, the student of the 6th course FSP, scholar of the President of Ukraine.

An agreement on cooperation between the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and state-owned enterprise "Ukroboronprom" was signed on December 22, 2017 in the university.

On November 21 the students of the FSP was found with a group of employees of the Ministry of internally displaced from the occupied territories persons, refugees and accommodation of Georgia, headed by Minister Sozar Subari and the Minister of the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine Vadym Chernysh.

The Igor Sikorsky KPI honored with nominal scholarship holders of the best students because of conscientious study, scientific research and active civic position.

On November 17, took place the public right educational event of the Main Regional Department of Justice in Kyiv and the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".

The next was considering of the issue about the results of the "Sikorsky Challenge" competition in 2017. Pro-rector O.M. Novikov was a reporter.

October 17, 2017 in the meeting hall of the Academic Council of the Igor Sikorsky KPI, at the initiative of the Department of History of the FSL, was given a lecture by the famous historian, acting head of the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studios at the University of Alberta Yaroslav-Igor Bala

On September 29, 2017, in the hall of the Administrative Council of the a celebration took place on the occasion of the opening of the Master's program “Conflict Resolution and Mediation”.

The flag, which Kyiv Polytechnic associates, who have been at war, and have brought it through fire and battles, was presented as a gift for the university.
