Namely, “Administrative Management” and “Electronic Governance” of Bachelor’s degree of specialization 281 “Public Administration”.
Such a decision was approved by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (Ukraine) which is responsible for the accreditation of the universities and degree programs.
“It is doubtlessly a recognition of the achievements, work, teaching and personnel training of the university, department and faculty. These degree programs are innovative according to their content”, - Olha Ivanytska, the Ph. D. in state administration, claims.
The accreditation of the program degrees is of free will and it is done according to the initiative of the educational establishments. The main aims of the accreditation is to check the accordance of the program degrees with the criteria, to help the establishments of higher education with identifying strong and weak points, to approach Ukrainian higher education to European standards.
Bachelor’s degree programs are assessed by nine criteria (masters’ degree programs are assessed by ten criteria), among which are planning and the aims of a program, structure and contents, access to a program and recognition of the results of studying, studying itself and teaching, control ways and assessments, clarity and publicity, human resources, etc.
