Our university continues to multiply its achievements in humanitarian demining and mine safety. We are not resting on our laurels and are engaging new partners. Now among them is the NGO Ukrainian Association of Humanitarian Demining, which brings together a wide range of mine action operators, manufacturers and other organizations involved in this field.

One of the traditions, the origins of which are associated with the activities of an outstanding scientist, innovator, welder, materials scientist academician E.O. Paton, whose name is the Educational and Research Institute of Materials Science and Welding of KPI, is the inseparable unity of KPI scientists with scientists of the Institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine of physical and material science profile. In this cooperation, KPI is represented by the E.O. Paton Institute of IMZ - a large educational, scientific and innovative complex in the structure of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, which includes 5 departments.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has joined the Kyiv Science and Innovation Cluster, created on the basis of the Municipal Research Institute for Socio-Economic Development of the City (“NDIRoM”). The NDIRoM is the main research institution of the Kyiv City Council and the Kyiv City State Administration and specializes in research in economics, computer science, and sociology to ensure sustainable development of Kyiv.
