One of the most pressing issues facing Ukraine's defense industry was the focus of the forum "Transforming Management in the Defense Industry," held at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in late May. The urgency of the discussion was dictated by the realities of war itself: modern warfare has become highly technology-driven, and according to some estimates, technologies on the battlefield are now evolving almost every three months.

A meeting with leading British astrobiologist and planetary scientist Professor Charles Cockell took place at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. A memorial plaque honoring Mariia Bihun (Leut) was unveiled in Building No. 18 of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, at her home faculty — the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering (FIOT). Mariia was a student of the university, a servicemember of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a junior sergeant, and a UAV operator. The ceremony was held on what would have been her birthday.
