🌺 The Ukrainian-Japanese Center of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute opened an author's exhibition of works “In love with oshibana” - the ancient art of samurai who found peace in unity with nature between battles, collecting flowers and creating elegant compositions.
The exhibition brings together the best works of seven Ukrainian artists from the Floristics folk group. Their works amaze even the Japanese with their perfection and contribute to the spread of oshibana culture in Ukraine.
“In Love with Oshibana” is also a journey through the twin cities of Kyiv and Kyoto. Dozens of unique floral arrangements made of flowers, leaves and tree bark are dedicated to
- nature and culture of Kyoto;
- architecture and landscapes of our capital - the atmosphere of Podil, St. Andrew's Church;
- deep meanings and symbols - the struggle between good and evil, hope for a brighter future and our victory.
Visit the exhibition until May 31, 2025, to catch the true unity with nature. And for those who have already been inspired, we invite you to attend oshibana courses and master classes at the Ukrainian-Japanese Center.
