February 17, 2015 at the Physics and Mathematics Faculty there has been an event, which was expected by students and teachers. This day a newly renovated classroom 421 in the 7th building, was opened.

December 3, 2014, the staff of the mathematical analysis and probability theory department held student mathematical Olympiads in nine faculties and institutes NTUU "KPI". About 600 students from FICT, FE, ESITS, FASS, FBE, FPM, FRE, FMM and ISIS participated in them.

What people feel when acquainted with a KPI student? Usually, an  interest appears in the eyes, a desire to communicate and join to something significant. Our university keeps the bar of high education, so one can tell about graduates of polytechnics with pride.

Recently  a collection of "Mathematical smiles" was published, the originator of which is Doctor of Science, Professor. Nina Afanasevna Virchenko.

From 16 to 18 September, the final round of the Ukrainian Mathematical Olympiad among technical universities was held in Sumy, on the basis of Sumy State University (SSU).

May 15, 2014 was opened XV International Scientific Conference in honour of the Academician Mikhail Kravchuk, the most prominent Ukrainian mathematician of the twentieth century, full member of YUAN, world-renowned scientist.

May 14 XV International Scientific Conference Academician Mikhail Kravchuk started its work at the physical auditorium of NTUU "KPI".
