The Conference of the labor collective NTUU "KPI", which took place on April 9 in addition to the collective agreement, also approved the Code of Honor of the University.

February 19,  the Adviser of the press, education and culture of the US Embassy in Ukraine Conrad Turner and the employee of the Embassy of Vera Ternavska visited National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".

October 20, National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was visited by the delegation of the Civilian Research and Development Fund of the United States (CRDF Global).

Boston College delegation, headed by master of Physical college of arts and sciences department of this educational institution doctor Michael Nowton, took place from 4th to 7th of March in NTUU “KPI”

Representatives of the Department of nuclear power plants and engineering thermophysics (NPP and ET) of NTUU "KPI" thermal power department took part in one of the most prestigious international conferences on nuclear safety, held on July 30-August 3 in Anaheim (California, USA).

On February 10, 2012 in the hall of the Administrative Council of our University was held a joint roundtable meeting of the Ukrainian Scientific-Technological Center (USTC) and NTUU "KPI", dedicated to the beginning of a new USTC program of the U.S.

NTUU "KPI", together with the University of Indianapolis (United States, Indiana) in 2009, founded the project "Dual Degree".

On April 23, 2009 on NTUU”KPI” administration's invitation NTUU”KPI” was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of USA in Ukraine H.E.Mr. William Taylor. The aim of the visit was to speak at the meeting with students and lecturers of the University.

"KPI" is one of the largest technical universities in Europe which operates as a research type university. Sometimes KPI is compared by value with the famous American educational institution - Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). So what about this Institute?
