The 20th International Scientific and Technical Conference "System Analysis and Information Technologies" SAIT was opened in a hall of Administrative Board of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on May 22, 2018.

A scientific and practical conference "Results of the heating season 2017-2018, the perspectives of the implementation of new technologies in the field of heat supply" was held in the end of April.

On April 26, 2018 a scientific and practical seminar "Creation, security and protection of objects of innovations" dedicated to the International Day of Intellectual Property was held at Igor Sikorsky KPI.

Conference "Electronics and Nanotechnology" ("ELNANO-2018") was successfully held on April 24-26, 2018 in Igor Sikorsky KPI.

On May, 15 the XVII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Instrumentation: State and Prospects" started at Igor Sikorsky KPI.

On May, 14 a solemn ceremony of awarding the diploma of "Honored Doctor of the National Technical University of Ukraine" Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute ", a mantle and a memorable sign to the Honored Professor of Material Science, founder and director of the A.J. Drexel Nanomaterials Institute (USA), a doctor of technical sciences Yury G. Gogotsi was held at the meeting of the Academic Council of Igor Sikorsky KPI.

On April 27 the XV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists "Theoretical and Applied Problems of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics" was finished at Igor Sikorsky KPI

On April 24 the 38th International Scientific and Technical Conference IEEE «ELECTRONICS AND NANOTECHNOLOGY» («ELNANO-2018») began its work at Kyiv National Technical University “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the Public Joint Stock Company “Automobile Company Bogdan Motors” and the Science Park “Kyivska Politechnica” will jointly develop new technologies and develop new types of transport. They agreed on this on April, 20.

On April 19, the prominent French immunologist and cytologist, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine for 2011 Jules Hoffmann delivered a lecture on “Congenital immunity: from insects to humanity” at the Igor Sikorsky KPI.
