The finalist of the competition of start-ups of the VII Festival of Innovative Projects "Sikorsky Challenge" was the work done jointly by three teams: LLC "Tsukorenergomontazh", LLC "Green Contact" and the Department of Cybernetics of Chemical Technology Process XTF, which relates to the disposal of organic, household and other types of solid waste.

The idea of the project arose as a result of cooperation of developers O.E. Kulinchenko, S.V. Plashikhin and E.V. Zelenin (photo) and consists in creation of the disposal complex which allows to receive cheap energy from environmentally friendly burning of both traditional, and unconventional fuel. After all, the ever-increasing cost of energy, the rate of accumulation and disposal of waste - are among the most actual issues of modern world.

The solution of these problems is aimed at a universal environmentally friendly disposal complex of the new generation, which allows to obtain energy through the disposal of waste in an environmentally friendly way. The complex combines three unique Ukrainian developments: Recycling boiler "Alligator", accepting contact and centrifugal filter.

There are a large number of boiler manufacturers, which have their disadvantages and advantages. But the main disadvantage for all - the high cost of traditional energy. The cost of a kilowatt of thermal energy produced by a universal environmentally friendly disposal complex is only 4 kopeks, which is ten times cheaper than existing boilers.

The operation of this universal complex is based on a reverse process gas generator. The high temperature of gasification and combustion guarantees disinfection and complete destruction of the used fuel. This high-temperature disposal complex works both on traditional fuel (firewood, coal, etc.) and on a wide range of industrial and solid household waste. The innovative potential of the complex lies in a new combustion technology that expands the scope of its application, including non-traditional combustible organic and inorganic types of waste, namely: waste of automobile rubber, leather, textiles, plastics without "illumination" (without use of gas, diesel). The complex is compact, and in terms of construction and environmental characteristics, allows installation and use near sources of waste, within residential development or industrial buildings and in a mobile container.

The universal complex also includes the latest high-efficiency equipment for dry cleaning of gaseous emissions from ash (centrifugal filter) and acidic impurities (accepting contact), which ensures compliance with European standards for emissions of pollutants. The new technology of dry gas cleaning allows to simplify as much as possible the process of control and automation of the process of utilization and gas cleaning, which, in turn, allows cost-effective use of technology for both domestic and industrial users.

Currently, a model range (12 models) of disposal boilers with a capacity of 25 to 3150 kW has been developed and certified.

Advantages of the complex over competitors:

  • possibility to use solid fuel /waste with humidity up to 75%;
  • works without "illumination" (without use of gas, diesel, etc.);
  • combustion temperature more than 10000 C;
  • emissions do not exceed the maximum allowable European standards for emissions of pollutants;
  • mobile execution
