April 14, 2016 at NTUU "KPI" was held XIV International Youth Scientific Conference "The history of science, technology and education."

Different events related to the outstanding dates in public life were held in STL of KPI during the last month.

Without exaggeration, nowadays the youth "live" in social networks. Here people learn, communicate, work and find answers to many questions, eventually they make new friends and only do not marry.

The library stock of rare and valuable books of H.I. Denysenko’s Scientific and Technical Library of NTUU “KPI” keeps many books on various branches of science and education, including textbooks from XVIII–XX c. Among the books, the collection of literature on arts and architecture of XIX–XX c.

The exhibition devoted to descriptive geometry takes place in the hall of rare and valuable works in NTUU “KPI” STL. There are textbooks, lecture courses, problem books, albums with drawings published in the second half of XIX century – the first half of XX century.

Lately, on New Year’s you can see unusual homemade Christmas tree. In particular, in the library is the original tree from books.

During the exploration of old part of library fund, certainly encounter the publication, which was earned the great famous in various sciences, technology or art, but nowadays-is little known.

The history of the Scientific and Technical Library of NTUU "KPI" named after H.I.Denysenko began with the Kiev Polytechnic Institute formation in 1898.

That is the fourth consecutive year in the scientific-technical library of NTUU "KPI" conducted cycle of cultural and educational evenings devoted to outstanding personalities of Ukrainian and Polish history.
