Valentina Petrivna Sapronova has graduated from the electricity department of KPI in 1960. For many years she worked as head of integration in building management.

In 1987, Scientific and technical library "KPI" was launched the electronic catalog. In 2012, there were added 65,522 new records for revenues of library collection of books and magazines, which the library received in previous years.

January 5 is the birthday of the famous Kiev publisher of late XIX - early XX century Stefan Vasilyevich Kulzhenko. In scientific and technical library of the University, this date was marked by the presentation of books published at the time in the printing house of Kulzhenko.

September 6, a bust of the world-famous French physicist and astronomer Jean Bernard Leon Foucault (1819 - 1868) was inaugurated in Scientific and Technical Library NTUU "KPI" of G.I.Denisenko.

Grigory Ivanovich Denisenko - an outstanding scientist, professor, doctor of technical sciences, corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences. The scope his personality, inherent to him natural features and unique destiny.

Now one of the achievements of independent Ukraine - First National Atlas of Ukraine (NAU) is available at NTUU "KPI". This gift on behalf of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine made on September 4 Rudenko, corr.

KPI - one of the oldest universities in Ukraine. Its 110-year-old age especially clearly demonstrate its architecture first and fourth cases that look like aliens from the past among modern noisy environment.
