In the 2002 between Turkish government and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was struck the deal "About technical and financial cooperation".
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute starts the cooperation with the University of Ankara
Kiev Polytechnic Institute commenced the cooperation with the University of Ankara (the Turkish Republic). The framework memorandum on such cooperation was signed on September, 28, by the Rector of the KPI, the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Michael Zgurovskyi and the rector of the University of Ankara, Professor Erkan Ibish.
International football tournament
Football tournament among foreign and Ukrainian students of our University was held on May 16-23, with the support of the Student Council, the Council of presidents of the fraternities and the Directorate of the Center of international education of NTUU "KPI".
The improvement with ESTIEM
On April 22-26th 2014, the regular student's meeting organization ESTIEM (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management), took place in the capital of Turkey, Istanbul, in which the representatives of 60 countries in Europe and Asia participated.
Meeting with Turkish Representatives
On May 24, 2013 Vice-Rector of "KPI" for International Relations Sergei Sydorenko was interviewed by National TV and Radio Company of the Republic "TRT", which prepares the material for the general television audience about the features and benefits of studying at NTUU "KPI".
The visit of representatives of MSM of the Turkish Republic.
On the 16th of May 2013, a press-conference for representatives of the mass media of the Turkish Republic was held.
Its main aim was to make the representatives of the Turkish press acquainted with Kyiv Polytechnic and to help them with the preparation of materials for the promotion of the information about the benefits of the studying at KPI on the territory of Turkey.
Cooperation Agreement with the University of Ondokuz Mayis
On April, 2 NTUU "KPI" concluded the cooperation agreement with university Ondokuz Mayis (t. Samsun, Turkish Republic). On behalf of Kiev Polytechnic the agreement was signed by the vice-chancellor with international relations, corresponding member of NAS of Ukraine Sergiy Sydorenko, on behalf of Ondokuz Mayis - rector professor Hussein Akan.
Turkish-Ukrainian high technology seminar
12-17 March in Gebze, near Istanbul, was held the first Turkish-Ukrainian high technology scientific seminar , which was initiated and organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey.
