Polytechnic Lyceum NTUU "KPI" was created in 1991 on the initiative of the Rector at the Faculty of preparatory school. Training began with grade 9, and the first recruitment was 60 children. Today the Lyceum has 650 pupils.
On February 15, 2014 was 450 years since the birth of Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) - Italian scientist, one of the founders of classical natural science, by fundamental discoveries in physics and astronomy.
Physics is designated as an experimental and exact science, laws which are based on facts established by experiment, and formulated using mathematics. It has such features thanks to Galileo.
On March, 13 this year, the team sports aerobics of "KPI" returned to Kyiv, they participated in the Open Championship of the Czech Republic (Zlin).
In April the Ambassador of France in Ukraine Alain Remy met with students, graduates and professors of NTUU "KPI".
On February 26-27, 2014 in Scientific and technical library named for G.I. Denisenko of NTUU "KPI" was the championship of chess. The event was organized by the department of sports of the Student Council of the University and department of sport SR of Publishing and Printing Institute.
In the State Polytechnic Museum at NTUU "KPI" was open championship of Ukraine of ship sport in the classes of models stand copies.
World experience shows that about 70% of the most cited publications are written by scientists under 45 years. These publications relate primarily new areas of science and engineering research activity of which is a natural.
