Kiev Polytechnic Institute commenced the cooperation with the University of Ankara (the Turkish Republic). The framework memorandum on such cooperation was signed on September, 28, by the Rector of the KPI, the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Michael Zgurovskyi and the rector of the University of Ankara, Professor Erkan Ibish.

On September, 21, the KPI was visited by the delegation of Technological University Cilu (People's Republic of China).
On 13 September, at a round table at the premises of Igor Sikorsky KPI were discussed energy issues and the principles of cooperation between Kyiv Polytechnics and their colleagues from Lithuanian Energy Institute in general projects in Ukraine and EU countries.

At the end of June – early July, the People's Ensemble of Folk Dance of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute toured Poland with triumph. Dancers took part in three international festivals.
