September, 6, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was visited by the delegation of representatives of investment structures of Japan under the leadership of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine in 2002-2005, Auditor of SDGs Co. Ltd Kishichiro Amae.
The delegation also comprised the wife of Kishichiro Amae Hidemi Amae; president of SDGs Co. Ltd, president and CEO of Third Wave Corporation Ozaki Kensuke; Director of SDGs Co. Ltd, lecturer at Cambridge University of Tadashi Hirai; President and Representative of Director of Tokyo Investment and Technology Investment Management Company Katayori Yuchi; General Manager for Third Wave Business Development, Matsunayet Yuchi; Executive Director of “Kivshovata Agro” Ltd. Yuki Rijutaro.
The guests met the Rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mchael Zgurovskyi, first vice-rector of the university, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Yuriy Yakymenko, deputy head of the Department of International Cooperation Yevhen Polischuk, director of the Ukrainian-Japanese-KPI Center Kateryna Lugovska and others.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the results of cooperation between Japan and Ukraine, and in particular between Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Japanese universities and research centers. In addition, the issues of establishing relations between the University and companies whose top managers participated in this visit were considered, as well as the general problems of implementing joint Ukrainian-Japanese projects, especially in the agrarian sector. Particular attention during the conversation was paid to the activities of the Ukrainian-Japanese Center of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, since the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Kisichiro Amae initiated its creation in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute during his work in our country and for many years he supported friendly ties
At the end, the delegation visited the State Polytechnic Museum and visited the Ukrainian-Japanese Center.
