The decision on the creation of the specialised standing committees of the Academic Council of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was approved in September 2019. It was dictated by the need to improve the management system of the university's research activities.

Let me congratulate you on the Independence Day of Ukraine and on the 124th anniversary of the founding of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The university budget for 2021 exceeded the corresponding indicator of the previous year by 21.7% and amounted to UAH 2,163.3 million.
1. To raise before the state administration of Ukraine the issue of celebrating at the state level the 125th anniversary of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
The year 2021 is coming to an end. It was a complicated year primarily due to the unpredictable spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year the rest of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute staff and members of their families traditionally took place at the university health facilities - OK "Mayak", SVST "Sosnovy" and SOT "Polytechnic".
Kyiv Polytechnic added another glorious fact to the annals of its history. Currently, the university ranks first among all higher education institutions in Ukraine in terms of the number of freshmen enrolled on the budget education.
