⚙️ From automating individual operations to digitally managing an entire enterprise: how can this transition be achieved in practice? This was the key question discussed at the scientific and technical conference “Automation Technology Day” at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

The event brought together around 100 engineers, researchers, business representatives, and university professionals.

📜 Key topics included:

🔹 automation of production operations and process standardization;
🔹 materials and batch management, and product traceability;
🔹 RFID technologies, from identification to production process management;
🔹 equipment energy efficiency and uninterrupted power supply for enterprises;
🔹 artificial intelligence, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and machine vision;
🔹 digital transformation of enterprises, illustrated through real-world case studies.

ℹ️ A dedicated session focused on cooperation between universities and industry. Participants discussed sharing expertise across education, research, and business; developing partnerships with enterprises to provide students with internship and employment opportunities; and finding ways to implement university-developed solutions that meet the needs of industrial production.

✅ The conference was organized by Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as part of the international EDIH Kyiv HiTech project, co-funded by the European Union through the Digital Europe Programme.
