The Department of Applied Hydroaeromechanics and Mechatronics has been already conducting the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad "Mechanical Engineering in Mechanical Engineering" for nine years.

On November 23-d, 2017 the X Olympiad on circuit theory was held. It has been organized by the Electronics Engineering Department of the Faculty of Electronics and is dedicated to the memory of Prof.

Let’s get acquainted: Andrii Shendrik is a fourth-year student of the faculty of Chemical Technology of National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. He studies the chemical synthesis of cosmetics and food additives at the Physical Chemistry department.

The grand closing ceremony of rewarding the winners of the 12th international programming student contest n.a. S. O. Levedev and V.M. Glushkov “KPI-OPEN 2017” took place in Hall of Scientific Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytecnnic Institute on the 7th of July.

Opening ceremony of the Twelfth Open International Student Programming Olympiad “KPI_OPEN 2017” named after S.O. Lebediev and V.M. Glushkov took place on 4th July at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

The final round of the All-Ukrainian Contest in Mathematics among the students of technical universities was held on May 16-19th at the Sumy State University (Sum SU), which is already for the fourth time hosts the contest.

The second round of the All-Ukrainian Competition on the history of Ukraine was held on April 25-27, 2017, at the Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University. It was attended by 94 students who, according to the results of the first round of the Competition, showed the best results.

     The second stage of Ukrainian student Olympiad on specialty "Energy management" was held in Igor Sikorsky KPI at the Institute of energy saving and energy management, 24-27 April 2017.The competition was attended by 14 leading universities of Ukraine.

On March, 22 at the  Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was conducted an open student competition in mathematics.
