The report of the head of the department for long-term development S.A.Manzyuk about the results of the health season of 2018 was heard.

The meeting of the Academic Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, which took place on October, 1, began somewhat unusual – with the solemn donation of the bronze bust of Alfred Nobel to the university by Mykola Znoba and Veronika Dirova.

The first point of agenda was the creation of the Institute for Defense Technology. The first pro-rector, the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Yu.I.Yakimenko reported.

The Academic Council reviewed the competition cases, in particular the election of a head of the department, a professor of departments and a recommendation to the assignment of academic titles.

The meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education took place on June, 6 in the Hall of the Academic Council of the Igor Sikorsky KPI.

The results of integrated quality monitoring of training specialists in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (XXIII tour) was the next question to be discussed.

The main issues on the agenda were the approval of professional training programs, reported by the first pro-rector Yu.I.Yakimenko.
