Anti-terrorist operation is still conducted in the east of Ukraine, and volunteers from KPI student try to help our soldiers.
For many years, the highest recognition of students’ achievements is the appointment of Ukraine’s President scholarships. In our university as in one of the best and reputable national universities, each semester five of students get the highest monetary reward.
On November, 26th International science and practical conference from sociology ‘State and global social changes: historical sociology of ruling and rebellion in modernism era’ took place in NTUU ‘KPI’.
Professor of the History Department (FSL NTUU “KPI”) was in the past its curator for many years. He is a famous Ukrainian scientist and the first co-chairman of the Historians’ Association of Higher Education in Ukraine.
In October, 23, His Holiness Philaret Patriarch of All Russia and Ukraine hold a service in the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of KPI for Kyiv polytechnics that gave their lives for freedom and independence of Ukraine and consecrated the deceased heroes’ memorial tablets.
- We studied at the same faculty with Vlad, lived in the same dorm room. Both of us were at the same age of 21. We also fought side by side. On that day, during a special mission the explosion of the shell tore off his leg below the knee and damaged other parts of the body.
According to the rector’s of NTUU "KPI" order No. 4-120 dated from 04.06.2015 the office of psychological counseling is created at the university for employees and students.
Psychological help consultations are conducted by lecturers of psychology and pedagogy department.
With great sadness we announce the death of student of sociology and law faculty of NTUU "KPI", 21- year-old fighter of the "Azov" regiment Vladislav Dusov during a combat mission in Eastern Ukraine.
Among the winners of the University contest "Teacher-researcher 2014" there is doctor of legal Sciences, Professor of the FSL Yevgen Dmitrovich Lukyanchikova. This is the rare case in KPI, when the recognition got the representative of the Humanities faculty.
