Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has launched the development of a unique research infrastructure for Ukraine called TRIUMPH (Ukrainian Translational Research Infrastructure for Medicine, Public Health and Innovations). The initiative was launched by the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, which has joined forces with leading research institutions, clinical centers, a pharmaceutical company, and a civil society organization.
The new platform is the first integrated system in Ukraine to provide a full cycle of translational research. It covers all stages of innovation development, from fundamental research and biomedical engineering to preclinical and clinical validation, legal and regulatory support, technology transfer, and the direct implementation of new solutions in the healthcare system.
TRIUMPH will operate as an open platform for healthcare professionals, researchers, students, young scientists, and business representatives. Participants will have access to advanced research facilities, digital technologies, biobanking services, clinical trials, expert support, and international cooperation programs.
The main goal of the initiative is to accelerate the market entry of biomedical innovations, promote the development of personalized medicine, and strengthen Ukraine's position within the European Research Area. The establishment of TRIUMPH marks a new stage in building a modern ecosystem in which scientific ideas can be rapidly transformed into viable technologies aimed at preserving health and improving people's quality of life.
