On 11 July, 2017, Peter Vasilievich Krush, Honored Teacher of the NTUU "KPI", Candidate of Economical Sciences, Professor, Honored Teacher of the NTUU "KPI", celebrated his 70th birthday.

The Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute brand is undeniable. Today it enriched itself with such characteristics as innovative, research and mobile. A lot of efforts are being made by the staff of the “non-technical” faculty of management and marketing.

Annualy in Ukraine there is an international linguistic and literary competition for pupils and students of the name of Taras Shevchenko, aimed at honoring Kobzar's memory and art. This year is already the seventh.

One of the important areas of educational, scientific and innovative activity of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky students is their participation in competitions and contests of scientific student work.

This year the Faculty of Management and Marketing celebrates the 25-year anniversary.  From the very establishment of the faculty, its employees - members of the labor union - formed a faculty labor union organization, which is a structural unit of the labor union of our university.

The second round of the All-Ukrainian Competition on the history of Ukraine was held on April 25-27, 2017, at the Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University. It was attended by 94 students who, according to the results of the first round of the Competition, showed the best results.

April 6, 2017, the Department of Management of the Faculty of Management and Marketing, of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute led the Eighth All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Approaches to Enterprise Management”.
