A large part of the research conducted at our university associated with the use of mechatronic systems, the combining units with electronic precision mechanics and their electrical components  to ensure the design of new modules and systems with intelligent control.

Delegation of representatives of  Rectors Conference of Polish technical universities visited NTUU "KPI".

For a 5-year period in November the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automation of NTUU "KPI" holds Olympics in five sports. Competition program traditionally consists of swimming, table tennis , basketball, volleyball and football.

In 1960, 110 young electrical engineers, specialists in the field of "Electric stations, networks and systems" departed to different parts of the former USSR.

On the 24th of April the scientific and technical centre, established with the assistance and direct involvement of the company “ABB in Ukraine”, was formally opened at the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automatics.

On the 16-19th of April, 2013 the second stage of The All-Ukrainian students’ contest in the theoretical foundations of electric engineering was conducted by the Subdepartment of theoretical electric engineering, Faculty of electric power engineering and automation of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kiev Polytechnic Institute”.

The Department of renewable energy is one of the youngest one in the University. It will celebrate its first anniversary. 10 years seems to be small. And I want to talk about the role of this Department in the society.
