November 6, 2013 at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” was celebrated the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the capital of Ukraine - city of Kyiv from Nazi occupation. Students, teachers and workers of the KPI were laying flowers at the monument to those who died during the war, and honoring the memory of those killed in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 with a moment of silence. The event was attended by representatives of the leadership of the university and its trade union organizations, faculty, staff and students.

On the November, 5 NTUU "KPI" celebrated the 110th anniversary of its trade union movement.

The traditional exhibition of professions "KPI invites to cooperation" was held at NTUU "KPI" on October 31.

On October 25, 2013 a meeting of Ukrainian Student Basketball Association was held. It was held by ABSA President , Rector of NTUU "KPI" Michael Zakharovich Zgurovsky .

On October, 24 the Vice President of the University of Tokyo, professor Yoishyro Matsumoto read a lecture at NTUU "KPI", due to the "Developing and encouraging partnerships between higher education and industry - joint research, technology transfer and university entrepreneurship."

On October, 23 the delegation group of international experts Counter-Terrorism Committee of the Security Council visited NTUU “KPI”.

On October, 18 in the conference hall of the Administrative Board of the National Technical University of Ukraine " Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" started the First International Scientific Conference "Development of Students Social Responsibility in Higher Technical Education”.

On October, 17 in the Hall of the Academic Council of NTUU "KPI" the results were drawn up, the winners were awarded and closing ceremony of the Second All-Ukrainian festival of innovation projects "Sikorsky Challenge 2013" was presided .

In September, an annual competition in testing of information systems security and Internet Intelligence "Layered defense – 2013" was held which is conducted by training center "Eshalon" within the International exhibition Infosecurity Russia 2013.
