Igor Sikorsky KPI became the venue and an active participant in the “Safety Distance” event, which focused on the use of remote systems for detecting explosive objects in mine action. Such technologies minimize risks to people and speed up the survey of territories.
Ukrainian and international experts, representatives of the public sector, scientists, and the KPI administration worked on practical solutions for remote search for explosive objects in the format of:

Igor Sikorsky KPI joined the event as an expert participant — the university has practical experience and implements international projects at the Educational and Scientific Center for Innovative Technologies in Humanitarian Demining, which operates on the basis of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management (institute og IEE) KPI.
