Renewed Fountain on Museum Square
On September 4 the solemn opening of the reconstructed and refurbished fountain took place at KPI Museum Square in front of the monument of the KPI Professor, academician Eugene Paton.
Seminar “Prospects of Development of Ukrainian-Polish Students and Academic Staff’ Mobility”
On August 31, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute held a seminar “Prospects of Development of Ukrainian-Polish Students and Academic Staff Mobility”. The organizers of the seminar were the Polish Educational Foundation “Perspectives”, the Committee on Foreign Cooperation of the Conference of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Poland and the Ukrainian - Polish Center of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.
Freshman Day 2017
On the 30th of September a traditional holiday "freshman day" was hold in KPI. Almost 5000 girls and boys took part in the ceremony of dedication.

Meeting of the Working Group on Solving Problem Water Supply of the Settlements of Donetsk and Lugansk regions
August 10, 2017 in the KPI under the chairmanship of the Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Gennadiy Zubko meeting of the working group on addressing problematic water supply issues in the settlements of Donetsk and Luhansk regions was held.
Visit of the delegation from the People's Republic of China
August 7, 2017 KPI was visited by a delegation from the People's Republic of China headed by the General Liu Sheng, who participated in the XII session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Chinese Co-ordination Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation.
