A delegation of SAS (Special Aerospace Service) with its chief technical officer and cofounder Tim Bulk as well as project managers Bill Clark and Ken Lindas visited NTUU "Igor Sikorsky KPI" in October, 5.
After the university campus and State polytechnic museum at Igor Sikorsky KPI examined, delegation members had a meeting with university authority and scientists whose activity is connected with the development of aerospace technologies. During the meeting, guests familiarized themselves with some university achievements in terms of its Space program. It was presented by rector of KPI, academician of NAS of Ukraine, Mykhailo Zgurovskyi. There were presentations of Space Earth Observation programme (by the winner of “Google” competition, professor Yurii Shelestov), youth university nano-satellites "PolyITAN" in Cubesat format (young researcher Yevgen Kovalenko), university participation in the program of Orbital Space Service (professor Vitalii Kotovskyi), project of multipurpose stratosphere platform (associate professor Leonid Tsybulskyi) and university unmanned aircraft vehicles and complexes (dean of the Faculty of Space and Aviation System, professor Oleksandr Zbrutskyi).
