On 29th September the memorandum on partnership and cooperation with IB "Ukrgasbank" had been signed by NTUU “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Politechnic Institute” and science park “Kyivska Polytechnika”.
The signing ceremony was preceded by the presentation of a projects chain on issues of energy efficiency. Researchers on various university faculties and departments are working on these projects. Chairman of the Board of IB "Ukrgasbank" Kirill Shevchenko emphasized: “ The area of energy efficiency is now most important for national bank. Issues of energy efficiency and energy conservation are now the key elements in our economy” .During the discussion about areas of cooperation Kirill Shevchenko said: “We are especially interesting in projects related to "green energy" and "green economy". Such project are about so-called alternative energy, this type of energy is "friendliness" to the environment. Also we are interesting in projects that ensure the reduction of hydrocarbons .... These projects are able to interest both the bank largest customers such as "Ukrtransgaz" and the utility companies operating in inhabited localities of our country.He explained: “Any utility company through our cooperation will simultaneously receive high-quality modern development that you offer, and the ability to finance it, which we provide”.
Document was signed by the principal of "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Politechnic Institute” academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Michael Zgurovsky on behalf of the university, by the CEO Vladimir Ignat on behalf of the Science Park and by the Chairman of the Board Kirill Shevchenko on behalf of IB "Ukrgasbank".
