On October, 23 the delegation group of international experts Counter-Terrorism Committee of the Security Council visited NTUU “KPI”.

On October, 18 in the conference hall of the Administrative Board of the National Technical University of Ukraine " Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" started the First International Scientific Conference "Development of Students Social Responsibility in Higher Technical Education”.

On October, 17 in the Hall of the Academic Council of NTUU "KPI" the results were drawn up, the winners were awarded and closing ceremony of the Second All-Ukrainian festival of innovation projects "Sikorsky Challenge 2013" was presided .

September 28, 2013, the District Exhibition and Festival "Education Darnitsya 2013", dedicated to the Day of Education Workers, was held in the Soldiers-internationalists park of Kyiv Darnitsya district.

With onset of the cold season the amount of ARVI, which takes the first place in structure of contagious diseases, is dramatically increase. Herewith the cases of flu happen in only 12-15%. In the epidemic season in short time period (4-6 weeks) 70-85% of population catches these diseases.

In September, an annual competition in testing of information systems security and Internet Intelligence "Layered defense – 2013" was held which is conducted by training center "Eshalon" within the International exhibition Infosecurity Russia 2013.

The main issue of the agenda was final results of carrying out the health-improving season of 2013. The head of trade union committee of employees V. I. Molchanov was the discussion leader.

Since the foundation ща KPI mathematical preparation was attached special importance here. By decision of the first principle of KPI V.L.Kyrpychova for teaching this discipline were invited to Kiev the best mathematics of the time - professors V.P.Yermakov and B.Ya.Bukreyev.

On October,11 at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was held an international seminar on " Fukushima -Chernobyl : Lessons from Chernobyl to Fukushima".
