According to the results of teaching and research he has received a proposal to continue the work in the department as an assistant. Now he teaches discipline, "Adaptive and Robust Systems", "Automatic Control Theory", "Management of complex chemical-technological systems."
The main theme of research is the development of integrated systems of automation of technological processes and productions. In 2013 O.A.Zhuchenko defended his thesis "Automating management processes by extrusion of polymeric materials in the changing modes of operation" for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. Now he is involved in the research projects of the department and faculty, which are financed by the State Budget of Ukraine, as well as private enterprises and organizations of Ukraine.
