February 17, a scientific-practical seminar "Modern communication systems dual-use" was held at the NTUU “KPI”.

In Ukraine, more than 60% of fires that cause great human and material losses are associated with low fire safety of electrical products. The fire and combustion products quickly spread by the cables if they are not fire -resistant. These combustion products are harmful to human life.

Department of the Ukrainian language, literature and culture of our university is unique, because it is the first of Ukrainian Department of technical universities in Ukraine. It was created in 1989.

The championship belt wrestling "Alish" was held in the capital of Lithuania Vilnius. Almost 100 athletes from 22 countries, including the national team of Ukraine, participated in the event,.

The past year for our country was marked by important changes and hardships.

Professor Vladimir Vasilyevich Khilchevsky celebrates his 90th birthday. All his labor activity is connected with our university. Returning from the war and going through long medical treatment he was enrolled in 1946 in Mechanical Faculty of KPI (specialty “Automobiles and tractors”).

Young scientist IME Ruslan BorisYoung scientist IME linked his fate with Kyiv Polytechnic in 2001 when he became a freshman. With the time he had got the bachelor’s degree in 2005, in 2007 – the master’s degree on the specialty “Equipment to process metal by pressure”.
