In July 2014 FASS best students, selected by indexes rating, in cooperation with the Faculty mechanic, energy and aviation Warsaw University of Technology (Warsaw Polytechnics) were on study industrial practices in Poland. It took place in several cities.
November 5, 2014, the solemn opening of the annual art contest "Talents KPI" was held in the exhibition hall of the building 7. 68 participants submitted to the contest 350 works in the genres of "Painting", "Graphics", "Arts and Crafts" and "Embroidery".
November 6, 2014, a job fair "Work for You - Fall 2014", organized by the Centre for Career Development and the Department of educational work was traditionally held in NTUU “KPI”.
The regular Conference of NTUU”KPI” Students Council was held. The Conference was attended by 229 delegates from 340 elected for participation. On the base of the report the Council Chairman Maxim Gusak the activity of the Council for this period was recognized acceptable.
The regular meeting of the trade union committee of employees NTUU"KPI" was held October 23, 2014.
The nature created the human being as a perfect one, but in the same time very sensitive to all sorts of diseases, which shorten its age. At the same time scientists can improve the quality of the life, make it more comfortable.

The anti-terrorist operation is held at the East of Ukraine. The fighting continues with sadness and sorrow for the victims and wounded Ukrainians. There are KPI students, professors, and staff among those who defend Ukraine. Thousands of people on a peaceful territory do not stand aside.
This summer 217 employees of KPI, 64 their families members and 77 children and grandchildren rested in recreation complex “Mayak” during 3 shifts. 217 tickets were sold for a full price to outsiders. The general complex filling was 65%.
November 3, at the meeting of the Academic Council NTUU”KPI” the well-known scientist, NAS of Ukraine academician, director of the Frantsevich Institute for Problem of Materials Science NASU, Valery Volodimirovich Skorohod was awarded the attributes of the Honorary Doctor of the University.
