Often from the media, we learn that such and such customs arrested the collection of cultural values, which would take over the state border of Ukraine. Here I must say that the cultural values are not only written, visual, film, photo, sound things, but the so-called real.
The more rare exhibits the more interesting the exhibition. In the "Electronics" section of State Polytechnic Museum the attention is attracted by the world's first ultrasonic motor, which was developed in Ukraine in the Kiev Polytechnic Institute. The history is as follows.
In December 2003 a unique collection of small arms was handed over from the military part of Shepetivka to the State Polytechnic Museum at NTUU "KPI". Among the various weapons, one rifle stood out with its size and execution.
A large number of unique exhibits, such as models of equipment, representing almost all the technical area, were collected at the State Polytechnic Museum at NTUU "KPI”. Many of them are of the age of more than a dozen years.
Commemoration meeting devoted to 80th anniversary of outstanding thermophysical instrument engineering scientist, founder of Ukrainian heat measurement school Oleg Arkadiyovych Gerashchenko was held on September 27th in House of Scientists. It was arranged by the Institute of Physics of the NAS of Ukraine and State Polytechnic museum of NTUU “KPI”.
