This year the Department of Philosophy of the Igor Sikorsky KPI celebrates the 60th anniversary of its foundation.

Igor Sikorsky KPI held the Sixteenth International Scientific and Practical Conference of postgraduates, graduate students, and students on April 24-27, 2018 under this title.

The representative of Igor Sikorsky KPI took part in the 12th European conference on non-destructive testing (ECNDT 2018), which was organized in Goteborg (Sweden) on 11th-15th of June.

Every spring the conference "Applied geometry, design, intellectual property subjects and innovative activity of students and young scientists" is held at the Department of Descriptive Geometry, Engineering and Computer Graphics

The 20th International Scientific and Technical Conference "System Analysis and Information Technologies" SAIT was opened in a hall of Administrative Board of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on May 22, 2018.

From May 15 till May 20, 2018 the VIII Annual International Scientific and Practical Conference "Legal Regulation of Public Relations on the Way to Sustainable Development" was held in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute at the Faculty of Sociology and Law.

A scientific and practical conference "Results of the heating season 2017-2018, the perspectives of the implementation of new technologies in the field of heat supply" was held in the end of April.
