The Sports Festival among the students of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was held from March to May in the University's sports complex

The grand closing ceremony of rewarding the winners of the 12th international programming student contest n.a. S. O. Levedev and V.M. Glushkov “KPI-OPEN 2017” took place in Hall of Scientific Council of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytecnnic Institute on the 7th of July.

Ukraine belongs to the few countries with a large-scale program of atomic energy usage for peaceful purposes. Therefore, the implementation of measures for safe operation of nuclear plants, protection of population and environment is one of the main directions of state policy.

Annualy in Ukraine there is an international linguistic and literary competition for pupils and students of the name of Taras Shevchenko, aimed at honoring Kobzar's memory and art. This year is already the seventh.

Competition in aerobic gymnastics for the championship among the departments under the program of the Spartakiad of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was organized on 20th of April, 2017 in the aerobics and fitness hall of the Center for Physical Education and Sports.

Team-Personnel Championship of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute” of the gymnastics was on April 5, 2017 on the premises of the Sports Complex of the University.

Volleyball competitions among the teams of faculties were held within the framework of the University Spartakiad in the volleyball hall of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Sports Complex from March 10 to May 16, 2017.

One of the important areas of educational, scientific and innovative activity of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky students is their participation in competitions and contests of scientific student work.

This spring hosted two traditional events at the Odessa National Academy of Communications named after O.S. Popov - final stages of the All-Ukrainian contest of student research thesis and the All-Ukrainian student Olympiad at telecommunications.
