On May 15, VI-th International Antarctic Conference "Internationalization of Research in Antarctica – the path to spiritual unity of mankind" started in the Scientific and Technical Library of NTUU "KPI". The conference was dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of academician V.I.
The project is held at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
In July, 2012 the project was carried out in the National Library of Ukraine named after V.I. Vernadskyi.
In 2013 the International Intellectual Property Day, celebrated on April 26 every year, was celebrated under the slogan of "Creativity: Next Generation". With this motto it draws the attention of the general public to the role of youth in the country’s development. The progress of modern science, culture and arts is tied to young people. The youth are open to perception of knowledge, easily acquire skills and abilities, have an immense intellectual potential and extraordinary creative abilities which manifest themselves in the perception, picturesqueness of thought, restless imagination, aspiration for fantasy, relaxedness and keen memory typical of young adults. The notion of youth is directly associated with that of the future. And thus, more attention is being drawn to the issues of raising the younger generation’s interest in intellectual property, one of the most important phenomena of the XXI century.

The IV Ukrainian scientific-practical conference "Current approaches to business management" was held on April 11, 2013 by the Department of Management at the Faculty of Management and Marketing of the National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI" and supported by the dean(director) of the Faculty of Management and Marketing Professor O.A.Havrysha, Doctor of Engineering Science, and led by the head of the Department of Management prof. V.V.Dergachova, Dr.sc.oec. The main objective of the conference - to discuss topical issues management with current trends in the national economy in a global environment - from a purely theoretical principles of micro-and macro applied to problems of implementation of the principles of innovation, information and investment components of the practice of management.
