The staff of the Department of Mathematical Analysis and Probability Theory for many years has been successfully engaged in the organization of mathematical competition in our university and training of talented students to math competitions at various levels.

On April 18, 2013 the Readings in Memory of Honored Scientist of Ukraine Doctor of Technical Sciences Professor Arthur Veniamynovych Prakhovnik were held at the Institute for Energy Saving and Energy.

The University Academic council meeting took place on 14th May 2014.

Considerable scientific potential of Ukraine is focused in higher education system (70 % of doctors and candidates of sciences ). Preparation of 81% and 85% of doctoral graduate students is carried out with higher education.

This year during February and March the students of the Faculty of Heat and Power Energy had an opportunity to listen to lectures and personally communicate with leading experts in their field, who work at universities in Western Europe and the USA.

May 22, ХVIII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Aerohydromechanics in engineering practice" started its work at NTUU"KPI". The conference was attended by representatives of Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Russia, Germany, Bulgaria.

"What do you need to know to create a "smart planet "? " - Open educational seminar on this topic was held on May, 21 in a big physical lecture hall of NTUU "KPI".
