The International scientific conference "Internetional University Cooperation as Integral Part of Innovative Development of Higher Education” was held at Chernivtsi National University, on May 16-18, 2013.

This semester five clever and talented beauties from Publishing and Printing Institute receive rector`s scholarship. They are Olena Hushcha, Victoria Dovgan`, Olesya Onoko, Elizabeth Sukhina and Anastasia Shepeleva.

3 July NTUU “KPI” was visited by the vice-chairman of Kyiv City Government Administration (KCGA) Ruslan Kramarenko along with the group of senior workers of KCGA and representatives of educational organization of the capital city.

Summer of 1923, an event, that caused the great interest of city residents, especially the young, occurred in Kyiv. It was demonstrative aviation exhibition, which was organized by the provincial department of the Society of Aviation and Aeronautics Ukraine and Crimea.

Civic formations for policing used to exist in every organization of the country. But after Soviet Union breakup the society was almost eliminated from the fight with crime for a while.

May 25 on the bases of Centre of Students` Consolidation the dance competition devoted to hip-hop “Hype Dance Battle” was held for the first time in NTUU “KPI”. In this competition the students of “KPI” and other participants from different parts of Ukraine took part.

On the 22 of May, on the premises of our university The Association of Central and East European educational and science networks (CEENET), supported by the EU and the 7th Framework Programme of the development of the EU, held the International Conference on the e-Infrastructure development

The second month of summer for students, who are fond of programming, traditionally begins with the International Olympiad on Programming "KPI-OPEN" named after S.O. Lebedev and V.M. Glushkov. The year 2013 has not become an exception: on 2nd July the Olympiad solemnly opened in the Hall of the Academic Council of The National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

For the past eight years, the "KPI-OPEN" Olympiad has become the largest in Ukraine and one of the world's largest ‘face to face’ programming contest among students. This year there are more than 90 commands from 64 universities of Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Turkey, Hungary, Moldova, Estonia and Poland – in all almost 400 participants.

Summer is the time for having rest. Lake, river and sea promise us luck and relief. Meanwhile, it is important to remember that water can be the source not only of enjoyment, but of danger. That is why you should be careful, attentive and sober on water.
