In order to promote sport and healthy lifestyle a personal shaping primacy among students from the Igor Sikorskiy KPI took place on December 15.
The competition was attended by students FEL, IPSA, ITS, VPI, FIOT, FEA, FBT, FBMI, FMF, TEF, FMM, FPM (31 persons together).
On November 6, 2017, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Department of Automation of the Design of Energy Processes and Systems (APEPS) of the Heat and Power Faculty of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" and the All-Ukrainian NGO
Six months ago, on May 26, a poly-satellite "PolyITAN-2-SAU" was launched into the near-Earth orbit. This is already the second nanosatellite, designed and manufactured at the Igor Sikorsky KPI under the guidance of Senior Researcher, Candidate of Technical Science Borys Rassamakin.
In October, the International Metallurgical Forum “Science and Innovation” was held in Kyiv. Its organizers were NAS of Ukraine, Smart Holding, Metinvest Group, Interpipe, ArcelorMittal, and “Eurasia”.
The Igor Sikorsky KPI honored with nominal scholarship holders of the best students because of conscientious study, scientific research and active civic position.
The internet centre “Akme-Harmoniia” was created at the Faculty of Heat and Power Engineering (Department of Automation of Power Processes and Systems Engineering, APEPS).

Kiev Polytechnic Institute commenced the cooperation with the University of Ankara (the Turkish Republic). The framework memorandum on such cooperation was signed on September, 28, by the Rector of the KPI, the academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Michael Zgurovskyi and the rector of the University of Ankara, Professor Erkan Ibish.
On September, 21, the KPI was visited by the delegation of Technological University Cilu (People's Republic of China).
On 28 August Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and concern “NICMAS” concluded Cooperation Agreement.
