The laboratory “FablabKPI” was opened on 19, June, the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Volodymyr Ivanovych Semendiy, a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, is undoubtedly one of the most famous graduates of Kyiv Polytechnic. He is an honoured machine builder of Russia, an honoured member of Kamaz, an honorary citizen of Naberezhnye Chelny.

Conclusions of the Olympiad in the theoretical mechanics 2018
February 27, 2018, the 1st stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on the discipline “Theoretical Mechanics” was held among the students of the Igor Sikorsky KPI.
The Olympiad was attended by 28 students, representing four faculties and institutes: MMI, FAKS, IChE, FIE.

On the March the 1st representatives of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Poznan University of Technology (Poland) signed a Protocol on Intentions for the Establishment and Launch of a Joint Nanosatellite.
